FORUM ON FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

students are invited and the general public to participate in the " Forum: Freedom of Expression is a Right" organized by Colectivo IdeAcción.
The event will take place on Friday 03 December at 6:30 pm in the auditorium of the Faculty of Law and Legal Studies of the Universidad Nacional Jorge Basadre Grohmman.
This forum will invite us to reflect on the legal and practical limitations of freedom of expression in our country. Collective IdeAcción considers it a priority to clarify and discuss the issue, because freedom of expression is a fundamental right that takes precedence over others and every society must demand respect for the free exhibition of their ideas.
For there to be democracy in a country, it is necessary to ensure freedom of expression primarily within the branches of government. It is also in the hands of journalists to convey the truth of the information to the people.
The forum will debate the reality faced by new media, including digital media, as well as the following:
- limits freedom of expression within the constitutional state. (Est. Rodrigo Osorio)
- limits freedom of expression within the perspective of communication social. (Mr. Carlos Vera)
- The independent media in the digital media within their right to freedom of expression. (Bach. Miguel Mori)
