Play Fair 2008 (Playfair 2008) is an international initiative aimed at ensuring respect for labor rights of workers in the textile industry and factory sport where Olympic items are made.

This campaign is open to entities (corporations, associations, NGOs, trade unions ,...) interested in supporting their cause. There are several forms of collaboration:

- Inform your members of the Campaign and encourage sign the postcard to be sent to International Olympic Committee to demand that business practices related to the production of Olympic sports meet internationally recognized labor standards by the ILO (International Labour Organization).

- disseminate electronic actions to pressure the English Olympic Committee and International Olympic Committee to take measures to avoid situations labor exploitation occurring in the manufacture of licensed Olympic goods.

- Spreading the digital banner of the Campaign.

- Participate in the various events taking place throughout the campaign in their region.

- Show your commitment to the campaign, which will be reflected on this website.

State launch Play Fair 2008

On Thursday 7 February, Chinese New Year's Day was launched statewide the beginning of the Play Fair 2008. Organized a press conference at the headquarters of SETEM Madrid, attended by representatives of the campaign: Victoria Montero de CCOO, UGT Antonio Lopez, Ana Etchenique of the English Confederation of Consumers and Users and Albert Sales , coordinator of the Clean Clothes Campaign-SETEM.


That same day, the launch of fair play is also organized in various communities, such as the Basque Country and Navarra, where lots of donuts were distributed in the form of the Olympic rings and collected signatures support for the campaign.
